We had a blast & hosted some WEBELOS on the "farm" camp-out October 29-31. Here's the highlight reel.

On Any Saturday

On any Saturday, you'll find Troop 122 serving our community. Here is a glimpse! We staffed a collection point for the Harvesters food drive, and continued Alan Tamosiunas' Eagle project to construct the recycling container at our host, Grace Covenant Presbyterian Church.

2010 Highlights

We emptied the images from everyone's cameras
to produce a quick "highlight reel" of our troop's activities in 2010...:

May 2010 Court of Honor

It's always an amazing evening when Scouts and their families gather for a Court of Honor. This evening also included recognition of Mr. Jeff Turner as he transitioned his leadership role of Troop 122 Scoutmaster to Mr. Jeff Allison. Gordon J Harton received the Kevin Sweeney Honor Award.

Order Of The Arrow Induction Weekend

Here's a group shot of our brave Scouts headed to the April 30-May 2 Order Of The Arrow "Induction Weekend" at Camp Naish. Both Ordeal Candidates and Brotherhood Candidates are participating.
Jim Bush is quite the fashion trendsetter...looks like everyone virtually joined him in wearing his trademark bandanna.

March 2010 Camp Out: Bartle

40+ Scouts from Troop 122 spent the weekend at the H. Roe Bartle Scout Reservation. Activities included a conservation/service project, a 5 mile hike, orienteering, and various skills transfered from older scouts to the first year scouts. The highlights included a trip to the point, and a visit to Camp Sawmill. Saturday evening included a trip into Iconium to enjoy peach floats at Scott's Iconium Store.
Here's a video that showcases some of the fun.
